Position: Network engineer(5+yrs exp. needed)

Location Menomonee falls, WI(Remote for now)

Type: log term contract

Rate: 50hr.

Position summary:

Support and troubleshoot existing network infrastructure, Cisco ASA firewalls, Firepower NGFWs, routers, Nexus switches, IPS.
- Experience with routing protocols, EIGRP and BGP and switching knowledge
- Setup site-to-site IPSEC VPN tunnel on Cisco ASA Firewalls and configuring Cisco Routers.
- Managed Cisco ASA policy and configuration using Cisco Security Manager and FTD firewalls with Firepower Management Console.
- DNS allocation - CNAME, host records, external record creation and management using Bluecat.
- Troubleshooting firewall, VPN and other network incidents.
- Participate in customer consulting meetings to gather business requirements and developed detailed designs based on those requirements.
- Participate in Incident Response activities
- Utilize change management best practices to execute and manage changes to systems and system deployments to production environments.
- Work with team members to automate engineering tasks, streamline processes and perform standard administration functions as needed
