Job Title : Programmer Analyst (Oracle Financials)

Location: Riverside, CA (100% remote)  / Can sit anywhere in the US /Must work PDT hours

Type: 12 Month Contract (extension possible)

Must have TN Visa, GC, or USC, EAD, H4, H1B Ok

MOI: 2 Zoom

 

MUST HAVE:

• Required to handle the support and maintenance of the existing financial applications as well as remediating / refactoring them for moving to the new data center. Refactor boundry system applications to integrate with Oracle Financials.
• Must have Oracle Financial experience and on the resume
• Oracle, PLSQL, HTML, CSS, Java Script, Oracle Financials
• 7+ years of IT experience (not looking for super senior guy)
• GREAT communication skills

 

Min Exp:

 

• Demonstrated ability to communicate technical information to technical and non-technical personnel at various levels in the organization.

 

• Experience with planning for deployment and creation of feedback mechanisms.

 

• Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills.

 

• Self-motivated and works independently and as part of a team. Able to learn effectively and meet deadlines.

 

• Demonstrated software repository skills. Demonstrated testing and test planning skills.

 

• Demonstrated ability to understand functional needs and how systems can support those needs. Demonstrated ability to develop conversion and system implementation plans.

 

• Demonstrated broad problem solving skills.

 

• Intermediate knowledge of secure software development.

 

• Advanced skills associated with software design, modification, implementation and deployment, including object-oriented programming concepts.

 

• Thorough experience with identification and use of code libraries and open-source forums.

 

• Thorough experience with common programming tools. Demonstrated ability to follow software specifications.

 

• Intermediate to advanced knowledge / experience of Oracle PLSQL, SQL and web programming (CSS/HTML/JavaScript/JSON).

 

• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of version control applications such as Git.

 

 

 

Preferred:

 

• Demonstrated ability to contribute technical narrative to grant proposals.

 

• Demonstrated ability to interface with management on a regular basis.

 

• Experience with supporting financial - related applications, such as PeopleSoft accounts payable, receivable, purchasing, journaling, vouchering, etc.

 

• Experience working in a higher education environment
