Job Description:

Senior Software Automation Engineer

San Jose, CA (onsite)

12 months + extensions

 

Coding Test is required.

 

Qualifications:

• 6+ years of experience in software automation testing of web applications and software development.
• Experience in developing test automation framework for frontend UI and backend services and APIs using Java, python, selenium, etc.
• Experience with Web Service APIs and related technologies (REST, GRAPHQL, JSON, XML and SOAP)
• Passion in load and performance testing.
• Experience with CI/CD – (GitLab, Jenkins), and PyTest framework.
• Automation test expert in software quality, load and performance testing.
• Extensive experience in testing large-scale web applications
• Hands-on experience with Relational and NoSQl databases.
• Hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services - ELB, EC2, S3, RDS etc. is desirable.
• Knowledge on Project management, Release Management, Agile methodology and scrum process.
• Demonstrated ability to be proactive, self-driven, and make practical trade-offs based on business needs
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Positive attitude, Self-motivated individual who takes ownership, Results oriented
• Hands on and team oriented, Desire to win in a highly competitive environment
• Ability to adjust plan and react as needed
• BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

 

Responsibilities:

• Develop automation testing for the enterprise web applications and platform services
• Design and implement data-driven, highly maintainable automated tests for our web applications and API services
• Implement performance and Load test, and integrate with CI/CD framework
• Contribute to new ideas and best practices to achieve high efficiency and great quality
• Take complete ownership of initiatives and make pragmatic technical decisions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams of developers, QA and operations to get work done
