Job Description:
Contractor will be responsible for activities related to daily operation support and development, maintenance and enhancements of Oracle e-Business Financials Applications. They will work in the Corporate Systems group taking direction from the team lead.
· Extensive experience of more than 6 years in IT applications development, analysis and support using Oracle e-Business Suite.
· A minimum of 2 years working directly with end users which require clear verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to effectively document and convey technical information to non-technical audiences and influence others without direct authority.
· Displays an ongoing commitment to learning and self-improvement and making an effort to acquire new knowledge or skills for work.
· Ability to work effectively in a team environment as a facilitator and team member. Must be able to handle a dynamic and changing work environment, and work well independently with minimal oversight.
· Must have strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with respect to accounting processes.
· Coordinates with Finance and various departments to support changes or additions to applications in accordance with ISO Change Management policies and procedures.
· Must have experience with Oracle R12 e-Business Suite with a thorough knowledge of the accounting modules AR, AP and GL. Knowledge of Procurement Suite and Projects Suite is very desirable.
· Must have extensive understanding of accounting business to leverage the functional setup of the accounting modules. Must have implementation or upgrade experience of functional setups/configurations.
· Knowledge of SQL, Pl/SQL, Oracle db 11i, workflow, XML Publisher reports design and development required. Knowledge of Oracle AME, OAF, Java, Jdeveloper is desirable.
