Type : Contract
Job Responsibilities
Hands on management of the Software as a Service (SaaS) production system for all clients, with a team of System Administrators and Software Engineers.
Responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining a virtualized infrastructure for all network operations related to the Production System for the SaaS application.
Responsible for interfacing with Multiple Stakeholders to ensure systems continue to operate at expected levels. Planned and executed several Data center migrations of production systems.
Responsible for ensuring that customer service level agreements (SLAs) are met to ensure client success and satisfaction, resulting in 100% client retention.
Work with Product Management and Engineering teams to integrate product into a production ready SaaS solution.
Follow the ITIL Process for working in the SysOps Team and ensuring the same is followed day in day out during RTB (Run the Business) activities
Key Skills
Linux administration (RHEL/CentOS),
Virtualization(Xen/KVM/Hypervisors/Servers),
Windows Aministration,
Scripting(Pearl/Python/Bash),
NFS, Chef, Puppet, Ansible,
ELK (ElasticSearch, Logstash & Kibana) stacks,
Monitoring (Nagios/Thruk/Icinga etc.),
Comfortable in one or more coding/scripting languages (Python, Bash),
Managing and configuring Docker containers,
Working knowledge of 24x7x365 Support Function (On-Call / Secondary SPOC),
Experience with Atlassian Jira/Confluence integration,
Good to have Rack Stack knowledge for Servers, AWS, Kubernetes
Qualification B.E. / B. Tech / M.E. / M. Tech / M.S. in Comp. Sc / MCA or equivalent
Job Skills
Day to day Linux sysadmin activities.
VM build/migrate/manage XEN/KVM machines/hypervisors.
day to day activities in data center environment.
monitoring of systems using Nagios/icinga/thruk to keep the systems up 24/7
good to have knowledge of ITIL process. Good Skills on MS Visio,
