Position summary:

enhance data archival, and retrieval processes for archived data. The goal is to transition data from high-cost on-premises and off-premises storage to AWS Glacier deep archive storage, ensuring long-term storage and retrieval capabilities for future research. Client  has specified the use of ServiceNow as the front-end and workflow orchestration tool, while AWS Lambda functions will be employed to create a consistent and qualified data environment, optimizing both time and costs for managing client's critical data.

 

Required Skills:

• AWS Architect with Cloud Networking (OR)

• Network Security (Palo Alto Firewall, AWS Cloud Networking and Enterprise Cisco Network)

• Project Management with PMP Certification

 

Other Skills:

• AWS Architect with Cloud Networking (OR)

• Vmware

• Nutanix

• Vulnerability Management

• Life science regulations is an added advantage in addition to above skills.

• Look for Architect level profiles who’s doing hand-on in these technologies with experience in project management. Customer is seeking for 50/50 in tech and project management.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess the existing AWS env.

• Design and Create infrastructure for the data archive application on AWS.

• Provision infra using IaC (terraform).

• Collaborate with other teams involved in the project.

• Promote deployments to higher env.

 

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of IT infrastructure experience, including 3+ years in a Cloud Architect role.

• Strong hands-on experience in network security, cloud platforms (e.g., AWS), and virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware).

• Proven ability to lead infrastructure projects from planning through implementation and support.

• Solid understanding of enterprise networking concepts, access controls, and system hardening.

• Experience supporting systems in regulated environments (e.g., GxP, HIPAA, SOX) is a plus.

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional technical efforts.

• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

• Relevant certifications are required (AWS Architect or PCNSE) with PMP.
