Senior Software Engineer (Frontend)

Roche Molecular Systems

Belmont, CA (only locals who can come for F2F)

12+Months contract 

 

 

Responsibilities

 

● Collaborate with Product and UX on product design and delivery

● Write maintainable, reliable, secure, performant, reusable front-end systems

● Write code that is easily automation testable

● Write unit tests

● Lead and participate in design and code reviews

● Ensure our software stack integrates with our CI/CD pipeline and contribute to continuous improvement

● Identify and communicate front-end best practices

● Above all, deliver software that meets the needs of the product. 

● Maintain a culture that values technical excellence together with support and compassion for individuals.

Minimum Qualifications

 

● BS degree in engineering, computer science, or related discipline

● Have successfully built, deployed, and supported an enterprise-scale web application in the cloud

● Expertise in Javascript ES6+

● Expertise in webcomponent-based frontend frameworks (e.g. Angular, React)

● Expertise in HTML5 and CSS with SASS or LESS

● Know your way around git

● 2-5+ years of experience

 

Preferred Qualifications

● MS degree in engineering, computer science, or related discipline

● Full-stack engineer with experience in Java or C++

● AWS experience with Linux

● Experience with healthcare data and workflows (e.g. HL7, FHIR)
