Job Description:

Oracle RDB DBA

Remote

3+ months

 

***Must BE a GC holder or a citizen*****

 

Required skills: 

• Extensive experience as Database administrator on RDB database product (version 7.2.5.X) running on OpenVMS systems.
• Hands-on experience on performing Database refresh, restore, backup etc using RMU utility.
• Experience on handling SQL services and db links with another database.
• Should be able to handle schedule DBA job failures and resolve them.
• Understanding the application requirements and create/maintain database objects.
• Drive performance & tuning, monitoring the database health.
• Experience in batch processes, import/export tasks
• Should be able to monitor database growth and perform necessary precautions and actions.
