Job Title : MMIS / Healthcare Analyst
Location : Denver, CO/Conway, AR/ El Paso, TX
Duration : 6+Months Contract

Job Qualifications:
Three (3) years’ or more technical development leadership experience working with an implementation team of application developer required.
Prior experience working with MMIS or other healthcare systems required.
Five (5) years’ or more development experience with the following application developer tools is preferred: i.e., C, UNIX (HPUX, AIX, Linux, Solaris), PLSQL, and Oracle.
Typically a technical Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 6 years’ experience or a Master’s degree and a minimum of 4 years of experience.
Work closely with State project teams providing them with sub system expertise needed for particular projects.
Solid understanding of the System Development Life-Cycle (SDLC).

Job Specific Skills/Special Functions:
Provide business expertise for the development and implementation of MMIS systems within the specific functional area assigned.
Basic understanding of modern software design and development methodologies (e.g., OO).
Experience on one or more full release project life cycles.
Strong understanding of modern SCM (software configuration management).
Basic understanding of testing tools and unit and integration test scripting, and testing methodologies.
Experience using an Integrated Development Environment (e.g., Eclipse, Visual Studio).
Strong understanding basic Database Administration.
Able to apply consistently quality and security standards.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Developing general project management/team leader skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team and with clients.
