Location: Oakland, CA
Duration : 12+ Months (F2F Interview is Must) LOCALS ONLY
Job Description:
- **At least 2 years of genuine experience with - Hadoop, Hive, Spark, Pig
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- This position will involve reviewing requirements, defining solution approach, designing and implementing the data processing components.
- Conduct Hands on Development, Data Engineering activities in Cloudera Hadoop environment
- Review requirements and translate to solution design in the Hadoop environment
- Deliver solution design documents
- Hands on development experience in Hadoop ecosystem (preferably Cloudera)
- Experience with Spark, Hive,
- Strong development experience with Java, scripting languages (Python)
- Data engineering, ETL design methodologies including best practices, performance tuning, architecture, designing and using Data Ingest processes
- Experience working with Databases (Oracle), SQL
- Cloudera Hadoop Certification desired
