Java developer with AWS
Location: Philadelphia
Length: 2 years maybe longer
Interview: Phone then onsite (they require this no skype )
Required:
- Sr level Java / Cloud people with 10 plus years of experience. Can work independently. Have that Sr level Development skills but also a solution mindset
- I need people who understand how to decompose the software in Event Driven Architecture
- I need strong Microservices and API experience
- Spring Boot
- Can build webservices from scratch (restful )
· There is going to be a lot of integration work and a lot is going to be using container espically in Devops
They are going to be using Kubernetes but you don’t need that but he wants modern container experience
Gradle, Docker, Puppet , Anisble
- AWS
- Must work onsite 5 days a week
Responsibilities:
- You will be responsible for building out new product. The role will look to prototype new market solutions and partner with Product Management. The new team will also be setting the standard for microservices standards for AWS.
- Design, implement, test and maintain major server-side components and web applications.
- Design and implement UI components in different frameworks
- Participate in project planning sessions with project managers, business analysts and team members to analyze business requirements and outline the proposed business solution
- Participate in design reviews and provide input to the design recommendations; incorporate security requirements into design; and provide input to information/data flow and understand and comply with architectural standards in all phases.
- Document the detailed application specifications, translate technical requirements into programmed application modules and develop/enhance software application modules
- Participate in code reviews and ensure that all solutions are aligned to pre-defined architectural specifications; identify/troubleshoot application code-related issues
- Research and prototype new technologies as appropriate.
- Ensure quality and completeness of the product through unit testing, documentation and maintenance as appropriate.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of hand-on programming / development experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of Backend Technologies –Java& Spring Boot
- Demonstrated experience with Microservices
- Demonstrated experience with Rest API’s
· AWS experience
