Oracle WMS Architect CA, Onsite

The Oracle WMS Architect is responsible for guiding the business team in architecting technical solutions related to Oracle Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). This role involves problem resolution, developing user communities, and building relationships across the organization to implement comprehensive recommendations. The architect will participate in designing high-quality application architecture, manage Oracle ERP applications, and work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.

 

Responsibilities
Guide the business team on architecting technical solutions.
Take ownership of problem resolution or ensure a clear hand-off to the right owner.
Anticipate key business issues and implement comprehensive recommendations.
Build relationships across the organization to gain buy-in and move initiatives forward.
Participate in the design of high-quality application architecture that meets organization's business requirements.
Contribute and manage all personnel and initiatives within the planning, design, development, implementation, maintenance, support, and enhancements of Oracle ERP applications.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, product owners, SMEs, enterprise architects, and software engineers to manage and prioritize the product backlog.
Participate in Release Planning, Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review/Demo, and Sprint Retrospective.
Proactively identify impediments and dependencies and work with cross-functional teams to resolve them.
Ensure all documentation, tracking, and reporting metrics are completed per the delivery timelines.
Lead and facilitate Integration, Solution, and UAT testing.
Create, monitor, and share team performance metrics, including preparing related progress reports.
Manage project plan and track project progress including dependencies, constraints, assumptions, and risks.
Escalate risks, resource gaps, and delays as needed to ensure project stays on track.
Lead daily Scrum and weekly Scrum meetings to compile project status updates and remove obstacles for project team members.
Encourage velocity, quality, and efficiency while adhering to coding, quality assurance, and project execution best practices.
Lead end users through training and testing by documenting user guides, training materials, business processes, and test plans.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or other relevant fields.
10+ years of Oracle EBS experience implementing and supporting Oracle modules: Warehouse Management System, Inventory Management, Shipping Execution, and Order Management (OM).
Extensive process knowledge of the Oracle WMS module (both functional and technical).
Ability to communicate with business users daily and handle WMS issues.
Good knowledge and understanding of interfaces.
Ability to grasp customer-specific custom solutions quickly and provide inputs to business thereafter.
Ability to clarify and document current-state, future-state, and the gap that exists between the two states.
Experience in developing and documenting solution design alternatives and leading collaborative processes.
Experience in Oracle SCM/Manufacturing/WMS modules with strong experience in supporting EBS R12.2.x core SCM modules.
Subject Matter Expert (SME) level experience required in WMS, OM, and Inventory Management.
Delivery experience in multiple R12 implementation and upgrade projects.
Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven work environment.
Excellent English communication skills and customer-facing roles.
Basic experience with PL/SQL is required; strong PL/SQL experience is preferred.
Nice-to-haves
Experience with Oracle cloud WMS implementations.
Experience in multiple R12 implementations.
