Role: Full Stack Java Developer
Location: Raleigh, NC
Duration: 6 Months w/o to extend
Visa: GC and USC Only
Required:
• Java
Development--Microservices, Restful API development, spring boot, Angular JS
b/c most of projects are moving from Java J2E.
• What
version of Angular 4 is what they are currently using. Junit and TDD.
•
Experience with Agile and waterfall
•
Kafka- (Good to have)—minimal exp required
•
JMS—Definitely required
• TDD-
Test driven development—Yes, absolute requirement.
PLUSES:
• AWS
experience IS A PLUS with ability to be involved with AWS architecture/design
solutions; OR EXPOSURE TO CLOUD
TECHNOLOGIES
•
NoSQL-MongoDB database they have started using—Any experience with this would
be great.
• Dev
Ops—Use Jenkins
•
Maven—building of flows
Projects:
What will candidate be working on?
• One
of the initial projects will be Login Services. These services will be used by
other areas including Member Portal.
•
Single sign-on or self-services related (forgot ID or Password)
• Work
with other teams to build a service (Text password to user)
•
Security project- logging an entry point.
• Not
quite a lead—but more of a Senior Developer.
•
Assists in resolving production support problems
•
Provide hands-on technical and best practice direction to project team and
oversee the work of team members to ensure they meet or exceed performance
standards and enforce standards and best practices
•
Leading and Guiding onsite and Offshore Vendor team
•
Ensure code base is testable, efficient, maintainable, and remains compliant
with the various standards
•
Conduct a light-weight internal code review
•
Consulting, design and strategy for Identity/access related needs
•
Presenting and demoing solutions to stakeholders, and technology groups
