Job Title : Java Developer with WCM & Websphere Portal Experience
Location : Melville, NY
Duration : 6+Months Contract

Skills (ADVANCED/EXPERT):
Strong Core Java, JSP, Spring , Hibernate, Javascript Frameworks , XML processing, XSL, Java Design Patterns, jUnit, Ant, AJAX, Web Services, IBM WEF.
Strong development, data analysis, design and testing skills
Automation with WCM Workflow
Designing custom Portal components.

Required
Strong experience with Java 1.6/1.7/1.8/J2EE
Application server – IBM Websphere Application Server / IBM Websphere Portal Server 8.5/9 and WCM
Experience with Spring Frameworks and Portlets
Experience with Javascript Libraries (Javascript, jQuery, Dojo, AngularJS)
Experience with source control system – SVN,GIT
Experience with ANT, Maven, Gradle, Jenkins
Experience with JSR 186/286 Programming
Experience with Rest and SOAP services
Experience in Junit and system testing skills
Understanding and experience in Agile Software Development methodology
 
Additional skills
Experience in any of the database such as AS/400 DB2, Oracle, SQLServer
Experience writing SQL, Stored Procedures, Triggers and Views
Experience with Hibernate/JPA, iBatis
Experience with developing Rest and SOAP services
Knowledge of application architectures and data modeling techniques
