· Position Specifics: Mandatory skills (both technical and industry)? Flexible skills? What is the overall project in relation to what this person will be doing?

o Strong PM – 5-7 years of IT project management in an App Dev shop, not an infrastructure shop

o TOOLS: MS Projects, Excel, Vision, Powerpoint

o Reporting and project planning experience.

o Nice to Have: Consumer Data/Privacy experience. Experience with a similar law.

o Waterfall experience; this is a waterfall project

o Basic understanding of how Agile works.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

An IT PM is needed to work with the IT Program Manager on the CCPA & DSAR program. This is an enterprise level, multi-phased program that will allow client to meet the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) regulations by 1/1/20. This will allow consumers to submit Data Subject Access Requests (DSAR) to provide information on what personal data Client has on file for the requestor, how it is being used, and why it is necessary for Client to keep it. It is expected that on Day 1, a minimal viable product will be delivered. Multiple subsequent projects will be necessary to provide additional functionality such as automation of the process to authenticate the requestor, providing a programmatic solution for locating all personal information, automating formatting and distribution of responses, and correcting or deleting requestor’s data. Each project will be evaluated to determine whether Agile or Adaptive is the appropriate management methodology.

7-9 years experience; Responsible for the coordination and completion of projects or programs. Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of project or program. Prepares reports for upper management regarding the status of a project. May require a bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of experience in the Project Management field. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. This position is responsible for the successful development and implementation of large, cross-functional projects with medium to high priority and high risk.
