Experience in applying machine learning for the parsing of documents, creation of label data, and integration into both node/graph based data models and traditional reporting platforms.
Job Description:
10+ year experience in leading multiple development PODS for an API, container based platform (Docker, Kubernetes based development, event streaming, graph databases).
- Prior experience in application development, reusable components, asynchronous design, design of data pipelines, data labeling, event streams, and API/container driven architectures.
- Azure and AWS development experience.
- Ability to lead engineering, structure development teams/PODS, work across multiple geographies, work in an Agile format, participate and contribute to PI planning sessions, estimate story points, and achieve development/coding production rates across the teams.
- Ability to coach development team members on coding practices, versioning, and integration testing. Experienced in management of releases and ensuring that code versions are maintained and kept up to date and within coding standards.
- Provide transparency on development issues and collaborate with broader platform and architecture team when issues arise – provide clear and efficient response to all development issues.
- Python, Java, cloudflow, sonarcube, GitHub, Java, Cloudflow, Flink, Kafka, MongoDB, Cassandra, EventHub, Azure keyvault, Spring Boot, Kafka Template, Spring Data, jHipster, MongoDB, Kafka, Event Hub, Azure Key Vault, Angular 7.2
- Experience in Azure ADO, Aha!, and other agile development tools (jira, etc).
- Experience in applying machine learning for the parsing of documents, creation of label data, and integration into both node/graph based data models and traditional reporting platforms.
- Familiar with integration via API into Service Now (nice to have)
Domain Skills:
- Experience in Non-financial Risk reporting, data management, workflows, and user experience design
- Understanding of Risk Assessment domain, structure of Regulatory Documents, Compliance reporting and/or audit reporting
- Familiar with Process/Risk/Control taxonomies in the context of Risk Management
Proactive on escalation of issues, risk, development issues – transparency on efficiency and production rates within development PODS is critical
- Proactive in management of skills across development PODS and maintaining agreed to development rates
- Ability to contribute to non-functional requirements, architecture, and team structure
- Ability to actively contribute to the leadership team meetings, scrums, release cycles and planning sessions
- Problem solver
- Ability to present to clients on an Adhoc basis
Education:
• BS in Computer Science, MS in CS or Engineering/Development preferred
