Job Responsibilities:

• Manage the delivery of projects through the complete lifecycle
• Ensure that the project is delivered on time, meets business and technical requirements and is within the agreed budget. Projects may be internally resourced and via third parties
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with all stakeholders
• Understand the high-level technical architecture and be able to facilitate debate and drive decisions on appropriate solutions
• Contribute to the portfolio and delivery planning for company
• Ensure that company requirements are produced to standard in a timely manner
• Responsible for the project administration and the production of project documentation
• Monitor and manage the project process and track progress against milestones, deadlines and budget. Report on these items to key stakeholders
• Anticipate, manage and resolve issues and act at the point of contact for the project
• Use best practice risk management, assessing risks in an informed and considered manner and to plan for the mitigation of these risk
• Run in-house projects on a day-to-day basis and take responsibility for their delivery using  formal methodologies as appropriate

 

Skills and Experience Required:

Required:

• 8+ years of experience successfully managing projects in the field
• 5+ years of experience managing projects in excess of $150,000
• 3 + years Planisware experience including requirements definition and implementation
• Strong client engagement skills including presentation skills, ability to think on your feet, and the ability to communicate technical messages effectively to non-technical audiences
• Agile, Lean, Six Sigma certifications or on job experience - understanding of Scrum, Agile software development concepts, Project Management
• Solid understanding of relational database concepts
• Ability to interface and provide feedback to leaders on best practices and standards for a solution
• Project and program management best practices
• Risk Management and analysis skills
• Estimation and other quantitative skills
• Organizational skills aligned with PMI's Organizational Project Management Standard
• Occasional Travel required

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in related field of study; Masters preferred
• PMP or Prince2 Certification preferred
• Scrum Master Certification, PMI ACP or SAFe  preferred
