Job Title : Network Engineer
Location : Houston, TX
Duration : 10+Months Contract

Rate: 47/hr on C2C

Description:
Network engineer to deploy, commission and partner with Global Operations to support a variety of network solutions.
The Engineer must be able to safely provide design, configuration, deployment and operational maintenance of network and voice technologies to ensure continuous availability of secure and reliable network services to both internal and external global customers/vendors Act as mentor and provide technical leadership to junior colleagues as required.

Basic requirements:
8+ years of Network experience
A high level of hands-on experience is required Good communications skills and teamwork are also essential in this role.

Main Characteristics:
Technical leadership - ability to collaboratively create, articulate, and champion a vision and strategy for continuous improvement of IT operational support Technical skills – solar winds, Meraki Dashboards, Meraki Firewall, Cisco Nexus Spine and leaf ,VRF architecture , BGP , OSPF,VTP,VLAN , HSRP protocols Toolset - Zscaler , Azure Express Route, SCI gateway configuration and connectivity with MPLS network Demonstrated subject matter expertise in networking and related processes/tools, including info. protection and industry best practices Communications – ability to simplify and effectively communicate (oral and written) complex ideas and principles at all levels of the organization Analysis/problem assessment - demonstrated ability to gather requirements and develop solutions; and to isolate and fix problems

Other characteristics:
Takes imitative to improve processes and is willing to step in to help when necessary Mentors junior colleagues in area of expertise and strives to continuously grow own capabilities Well versed in safety, security and reliability; and follows established principles and standards
