Job Title: Java Spark Developer

Location: New Jersey, NJ

Duration: 6-12 months

 

Job Description:

 

·         Must have Java/Apache Spark with Angular

·         3-8 years of Application development on J2EE                   

·         B.S or M.S (Computer Science preferred)                            

·         5+ years minimum experience in Java programming                       

·         3+ years working experience on Agile Scrum teams                        

·         Must Have - Experience with Java 7, J2EE, Spring 3.X, Struts, SOAP, Ant, Maven, Jenkins, Mockito

·         Strong experience with Spring Framework  

·         Understands the server MVC pattern and be familiar with Spring MVC         

·         Experience building REST and SOAP web services using Java    

·         Strong understanding of OOP & SOA principles, design patterns, industry best practices                         

·         Demonstrate core JavaScript knowledge

·         Write AJax calls and manipulate the DOM using jQuery

·         Experience with IDEs such as Eclipse/IntelliJ

·         Previous Experience with an existing client-side JavaScript Framework

·         Experience with open source frameworks                                          

·         Familiar with RactiveJS

·         Working knowledge of Mustache expressions

·         Familiar with NPM and its capabilities             

             

Experience with scripting and working in a Linux environment

 

·         Experience with high volume, mission critical applications                            

·         Strong written and verbal communication skills                 

·         Strong interpersonal skills and time management skills                 

·         Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills                         

·         Experience with tuning high volume applications                             

·         Experience with building and deploying applications for the cloud                            

·         Experience in producing solid documentation both inside code and external design specifications.
