Job Title: UX Designer
Location: Fort Worth TX
Duration: Long Term Contract
Must be a US Citizen or GC Holder Must
Face To Face Interview is required
Responsibilities
Create wireframes, design comps, storyboards, scenarios, and prototypes
Be capable of addressing business and user requirements – from conceptual development through build-out
Embrace challenges and always be looking for ways to improve the product
Collaboratively develop UX solutions, and deliver on designs and interactive prototypes
Support your recommendations on solid usability principles, research, and gut instinct
Embrace the creative process through discovery; explore and create conceptual models, flows, sitemaps, and navigation schemes
Participate in usability testing and research; translate findings into design improvements
Participate or lead whiteboard sessions or focus groups to gather user-focused requirements
Work with teams to understand business and design goals and then select and iterate the best approach to create a highly usable and engaging experiences
Comprehend, communicate, and adhere to American’s internal visual design and brand standards
Required Skills
BA/BFA degree in graphic or visual design, digital media design or related field
Minimum 3 years UX experience creating beautiful, yet simple, designs
Strong visual design skills including screen layouts, information design, and typography
Experience with organizing large amounts of information and content to deliver an intuitive and user friendly experience
Thorough knowledge of JavaScript and HTML/HTML5/CSS
Ability to partner with front-end developers and create HTML and CSS-friendly designs
Experience with prototyping and visual design tools (e.g. Axure, Visio, iRise, Adobe Creative Suite)
Knowledge and demonstrated experience with cross-browser and cross-platform issues (IE, Firefox, Safari, mobile browsers etc.)
Demonstrated web design skills that show creativity beyond applying third-party templates
Have a working understanding of publishing and content management systems
Deep knowledge of responsive and adaptive web design process
Ability to communicate complex, interactive design concepts clearly to diverse audiences
Portfolio or samples of previous work demonstrating required skills
Experience working with social business or enterprise social collaboration platforms such as Lithium, Jive, Yammer, SharePoint, Salesforce.com communities.
