Job Description
The Digital Merchandising team of the Technology, Product, Experience group is responsible for the end-to-end architecture that comprises various web and mobile customer and prospective customer interaction channels, most notably . The Front-end Development team supporting Optimization and Content Management has a job opening for a front-end developer that will produce cutting-edge user interfaces for web applications running on desktops, mobile phones and tablets. This role will work in a fast-paced cross-team collaborative environment working with business stakeholders to maximize the performance and profitability of digital web properties featuring the services available in the XFINITY product line. Candidate will rely heavily on front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, JSON), and preferably is familiar with site optimization, content strategy and has experience working with a CMS (Sitecore) and testing platform (Adobe Target).
Required Skills and Experience
• HTML / CSS / SCSS
• Vanilla JavaScript
• 3+ years translating or “wiring-up” HTML templates
• 3+ years working with Javascript frameworks, AJAX, DOM manipulation and JSON
• SCM knowledge, GIT, SVN, TFS
• SiteCore Enterprise CMS or equivalent
• JavaScript modules (ES6+) development
• Ability to write and understand unit testing JavaScript
• Image optimization
• Exposure to web optimization methodologies and tools such as Adobe Target/Monetate
• Back-end / web service technologies – REST, SOAP, XML
• Working in high volume, on-demand agency like atmosphere
• Expertise in rendering page designs (wireframes) using HTML/CSS/JavaScript
• Creating and debugging fully responsive designs
Job Responsibilities
• Identify tasks related to HTML authoring and/or front-end development. Estimate effort for front-end development.
• Communicate with business stakeholders to understand the “What” and “Why” of a request to ensure the best possible solution is delivered.
• Collaborate with front-end designers and back-end developers to analyze and optimize the performance of web pages.
• Ensure work products are delivered on-schedule and comply with best practices and standards.

Applications being deployed to Cloud environment
Must Have:
Full-Stack Java Skills (60% front end, 40% back end)
Must have experience working in DevOps model – does not want a DevOps engineer
Angular, React, or Polymer experience
Good knowledge of scrum processes
Some cloud knowledge – environment doesn’t matter (AWS, Cloud Foundry, etc)
