Role: Java Developer

Location: Remote

Duration: 12 months

 

Qualifications

Required:

 

•        8+ years of experience programming in Java

•        2+ years of experience in an Oracle database environment and SQL

•        2+ years of experience with Spring, Hibernate, and Struts 2

•        1+ years of experience with Tomcat application servers and Web Services (SOAP and RESTful)

•        1+ years of experience using Maven, Git and Jenkins

•        1+ years of experience working in a Unix/Linux environment

•        Experience in the full software development lifecycle

•        Excellent time management and prioritization skills

•        Must be flexible in the face of changing priorities and requirements

•        Must possess initiative, results-oriented drive and a solid work ethic requiring minimal direction

•        Strong communication skills to effectively communicate with various IT teams

•        Must be committed to incorporating security into all decisions and daily job responsibilities

 

Preferred:

•        Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field preferred

•        Experience programming in modern UI frameworks, such as, React and Angular

•        Experience working on an Agile development team

•        Experience with front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML, AJAX, JSP and CSS

•        Experience working with Cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure

•        Experience working with Atlassian tool set (Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence)

•        Experience with IDE tools such as Eclipse or IntelliJ
