Position: Websphere Commerce Developer/Tech Lead
Location: New Albany, OH
Duration: Long term
Must have US Citizen or GC Holder or H1B(Need copy for submission)
JOB DESCRIPTION:
IBM WCS - Checkout sub-modules OR Catalog/Search Modules and support experience
Analyze and diagnose any issues which may impact performance or availability in the eCommerce environment.
Develop functional and technical documentation on assigned projects/functional area
Work in a team environment supporting the team and improving web development practices
Analyze and optimize database and core commerce functions for maximum performance
Should have IBM WCS (Web Sphere Commerce) architecture design and development framework.
Should have part of at least 3 WCS implementation.
Should propose solutions.
Strong experience of JAVA/J2EE.
Strong verbal, presentation and written communications skills for technical audiences; able to explain technical solutions to technical teams.
Solid SDLC knowledge and expertise / Agile.
Should have experience coordinating with offshore teams
Good interpersonal, problem solving, reasoning and analytical skills.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
5-6 years of experience on a production eCommerce platform such as IBM's Websphere Commerce Suite is required
Experience in all phases of the software development life cycle, including analysis, design, unit test, system test, deployment and production support and Agile methodology.
Excellent communication skills, work ethic and the ability to work well individually as well as in a team environment
Must possess understanding of business processes and ability to solve complex problems
