Title: Sr. .NET Developer (2 roles)
Location: Dallas, TX
Duration: The position will be 6 months initially but it will very likely extend for another 6 months.

Please note: consultant will directly work with T1 vendor – no layers will be there. Candidate must have min 8-9+ years of exp
I have a Dallas based client looking for.NET developer, candidate MUST be local. The client is in the retail industry which is a plus.
In this role, you will be working on new software and applications equipping the business units to achieve their goals.
You are a strong candidate if you have experience with Angular in addition to a strong .Net background in an Agile environment.
As the .Net Developer, you will be responsible for the following:
• Complete a complex software life-cycle: scope, design, code, test and implement
• Participate in requirement analysis and definition
• Prepare code documentation in support of program development
• Follow established company software development guidelines and procedures
• Design, develop and install new application programs
• Debug and test new application programs
• Develop test procedures and test platforms for programs and/or programming functions
• Modify existing systems
• Confer with departments to identify software/reporting needs
• Manage systems project timelines as they relate to programming
• Assure system documentation by directing the writing of detailed descriptions of the system components
• Create the training modules for user groups
• Develop and implement software solutions that will empower the users as well as boost the overall operational efficiencies
• Perform ad hoc reports on demand
• Monitor the integrity of scheduled reports/tasks and jobs ensuring the proper flow of data into tables, updates, etc.
Requirements for this role include:
• Bachelor Degree or, in lieu of degree, equivalent education, training, and work-related experience
• 7+ years of experience in the Microsoft technology stack
• Strong knowledge of the .NET framework (4.5 and higher)
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and SOLID design principles
• Proficient in C# with a good understanding of VB.NET
• Proficient in ASP.NET MVC, HTML 5, CSS, JavaScript, and JQuery
• Experienced with front-end frameworks (Angular 4)
• Experience with SOAP and Restful Web Services (WCF, Web API)
• Proficient in SQL Server 2012 and above, Transact SQL, stored procedures, triggers, DTS packages
• Experience with .NET Core
• Experience with Entity Framework and Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) frameworks
• Experience with applying design and architectural patterns
• Familiar with TFS 2013 and higher
• Experience in end-to-end Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) project
• Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Experience with code review and evaluation
• Good at understanding requirements and estimation
• Good team player, have the ability and willingness to mentor junior developers
• Have a passion for learning new technologies and enhancing existing skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Self-starter that can work well in a team environment
• Proactive issue resolution with a positive attitude
• Ability to adapt and respond in a rapidly evolving business environment
