Job Title: Java Back-end Developer
Location: 100% Remote (Must work in PST times)
Duration: 1 year contract
Work Authorization: Open to all
Pay Rate: $60/hr.

Must have:
· Strong Hands-on coding in Java at least 8+ years of experience along with Spring and Spring Boot
· Strong development in microservices
· Strong knowledge of public cloud such as AWS, Azure and Pivot Cloud
· Experience with No SQL (MongoDB, Azure Cosmos DB or Cassandra DB)
· Kafka, JavaScript frameworks such as AngularJS, NodeJS & Typescript – good to have but not required
Responsibilities:
· Design, implement and support highly scalable solutions to integrate our pharmacy and health platforms
· Hands-on full lifecycle engineering responsibilities (build, installation, configuration, upgrades, testing, deployment and performance tuning & optimization and documentation including troubleshooting production support issues)
· Investigate and resolve performance issues in a timely manner.
· Identify opportunities and develop scripts to automate the tasks where possible to minimize repetitive manual work and improve consistency and quality of delivered work
What we are searching for:
· 8+ years of hands-on experience in developing software applications using Java, Spring Framework and integration experience (Server frameworks, relational databases, REST APIs, and related technologies)
· Experienced in designing and developing Microservices applying Reactive patterns.
· Experience delivering secure, scalable, resilient solutions based on Java Spring frameworks and Kubernetes services
· Have experiences in creating/implementing microservices in a cloud technology environment
· Experience in Microsoft Azure, PaaS, DevOps and CI/CD tools is a plus.
· Experience with Linux/UNIX systems and the best practices for deploying applications to those stacks
· Significant experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools is required.
