Position summary:
Job Description-
• Responsible for developing and executing formal test plans to ensure the delivery of quality software applications.
• Involved in test planning, writing test cases/scripts, test case automation and test execution.
• Quality Assurance Test Lead works on projects of high complexity within one or more development environments and on multiple programs/systems as a test lead.
• Responsible for leading onshore and offshore staff.
• Subject matter expert for a single program/system with the ability to lead through effective delegation, training, and motivation.
• Should have the ability to track multiple test efforts simultaneously and to be able to synthesize the results in fast paced environment.
• Proficient in using HP Test Suite or other Testing Tools.
• Delivers quality process training to technical staff and acts as an internal quality consultant to advise or influence business or technical partners.
• Experience with AWS architecture and workflow for sending out comms to Customer in form of Emails, SMS and
Auto Call for multiple campaigns (Payment Due, Statement Ready, Order Confirmation, etc.).
Requirements-
• Good knowledge around QA process and Quality Assurance LifeCycle and QA tools like Octane and ALM
• Good knowledge around CSG Billing systems and Cable, Telecom domain
• Good knowledge Agile Scrum model of delivery and tools like JIRA
• Need to Follow agile process. Good communication with coordination skills.
What are the top 3 skills required for this role?
1. Testing Process and Good Leading skills
2. Functional Testing Skills: ALM Octane, Postman, SoapUI, Swagger, Splunk, Kibana, Apache Kafka, SQL server, Oracle, Selenium and Postman.
3. Domain skills: Telco OSS/BSS fundamental concepts, CSG/ACSR (Biller).
