Requirement Skills
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Information Technology
• Knowledge of Data Warehouse and BI Reporting concepts
• Knowledge of Logical and Physical Database Design
• Knowledge of SSIS and SSRS
• Knowledge of SQL and T-SQL
• Detail oriented individual who thoroughly tests own code
• Know how to use source control tools (e.g. GitHub)
• Ability to work with others or independently
Required Experience
• 3-5 years SSIS Development experience
• 3-5 years SSRS Development experience
• 3-5 Experience with writing and debugging SQL Server stored procedures
• 3-5 Experience with Databases – OLTP and OLAP
Optional Skills and Experience
• Dashboard development using Tableau
• Healthcare industry experience

As a Business Intelligence Report Developer you will work with a fast paced, high caliber team to design and develop BI/DW reports related to mission-critical custom and packaged software applications
As a Business Intelligence Report Developer your job responsibilities will include:
• Responsible for hands on development using SSIS, SSRS and T-SQL.
• Work with application developers, product teams, management, and Data Warehouse team.
• Responsible for quality deliverable units of code.
• Responsible for reviewing requirements, architecture, and design components of ongoing and upcoming projects.
• Responsible for developing and documenting the systems, processes and logic required to expose the existing data sets in the warehouse to end users for reporting and analysis purposes
• Keep abreast of the tools, techniques and components being used in the industry through research and applies this knowledge to the system(s) being developed.
• Optimize dtsx packages and rdl reports for performance and improvement opportunities.
• Ensure the quality, consistency and security of company data and data warehouse systems.
• Ability to switch easily between different projects and flexibility to handle a rapidly changing environment for large volumes of data.
• Troubleshoot and diagnosis complex software problems.
• Utilize Source Control, bundle dependencies to make a deliverable unit of code, Build and deploy via a Continuous Integration framework.
• Use a test driven design methodology.
• Participate in an AGILE process.
• Ability to learn new technologies and concepts with minimal guidance
• Strong investigative, analytical and problem solving skills
• Must be able to work on-site in the San Diego office
