Position- Sr. Java Developer
Location: Deerfield, IL

Duration: Long Term

 

Job Description-
Implement a robust set of services and APIs to power the platform 
Optimize the application for maximum speed and scalability 
Implement security and data protection 
Translate wireframes and prototypes into high-performance user interfaces 
Integrate front-end and back-end aspects of the platform 

 

Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications:
Five or more years of experience in a software development role, working with both front-end and back-end technologies 
Expert knowledge of JAVA 
Expert knowledge of Spring Frameworks, Spring Boot, Spring Data, Node Js and Hibernate 
Strong demonstrated experience in building, integrating and deploying web services (REST/ SOAP/JSON/XML) 
Experience with HTML, CSS (responsive), JavaScript, and JSP 
Experience with modern JS frameworks and rapid application development platforms (React/Redux, NodeJS, etc.) 
Experience with AWS (Elastic Beanstalk, Lambda, IAM, EC2, S3, SQS, RDS, etc) 
Experience in mobile application development (Xcode, iOS) 
Experience with security compliance standards (ISO, SOC, etc) 
Linux, Apache, Ngnix and Tomcat experience is a plus 
Understanding of PKI and encryption best practices 
Strong consensus building communication skills 
Excellent English communication skills and experience in client-facing communications (developers communicate with stakeholders directly) 
Self-management and strong prioritization skills 
Capability to work in agile environment without direct supervision 
Ready to ask the questions - go straight to client, collect and analyze the need 
Able to create necessary documentation (incl. PRD, Test Cases, Design Docs, etc.) instead of waiting for a perfectly shaped task
