Position summary:

 

Responsibilities:

• Capture business requirements and rules, design the associated logical models, and create all required documentation to support, communicate and validate the data model.
• Analyze data-related system integration challenges and propose appropriate solutions.
• Communicate to business users the decisions made in the data model for optimal performance.
• Establish and conduct model reviews with business and technical project teams.
• Coordinate with development/implementation teams to reconcile the Data model with Domain Model developed using Code First Approach.
• Coordinate with development/implementation teams to improve model formats and approaches regarding implementation issues.
• Guide the development team and others on data and analytic limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfaces.
• Review database design changes with the team to determine the impact to the physical database, logical data model and other systems.
• Develop best practices for standard naming conventions and coding practices to ensure consistency of data models.
• Maintain documentation of data models, including relationships, constraints and metadata Work proactively and independently to address project requirements and articulate issues/challenges to reduce project delivery risks.

 

 

Skills / experience required:

• Expert at using standard modeling tools
• Must have experience writing Source to Target Mappings
• Must have experience to logical / physical database modeling and design Experience in Azure Databicks & ADF
