involved in analysis and requirements gathering and translating high-level business requirements into detailed Reporting requirements - Identify and chart the existing reports enhancements and detail them as part of the FRD. - Analyse Data sources and existing Data warehouse for new reporting requirements. - Gather information on inherent systems (Claims Provider pharmacy etc.) to have an understanding of the business processes. - Worked on Business Requirement Documentation Source to Data mapping and arrive with the new tables in the Data warehouse for Report development. - Analyse the calculations involved in the reports to implement on Data warehouse tables.(preferrable not mandatory) - Build the new universe as per the requirement by identifying the required tables from semantic layer and by defining the universe connections(preferrable not mandatory) - Optimized the Universe and Database table for improving report performance. (preferrable not mandatory) - Worked on Universe Designer with required measures and objects Implemented various Calculations Variables Filter conditions Prompts Hierarchies Derived Tables Aggregate tables. - Implemented sub-reports graphical reports formula based Pivot Tables Charts and well formatted reports according to user requirement. - Experience troubleshooting and solving business user ad-hoc report development problems. - Worked in writing complex SQL queries for testing the data for Reports and also universe designing.
