Lead UX Designer

Minneapolis, Kanas , USA.

UX Designers with varying levels of experience to help create memorable experiences for our customers, and level up products used by everyone.

 

Responsibilities

• Work with the Product, Engineering and Design teams to distill complicated problems into simple, minimal solutions
• As a player/coach, you’ll help support a delivery team as well as manage and mentor other designers in your team
• Rapidly iterate product concepts through user testing, high fidelity mock ups & prototypes, user journey maps, storyboards, and more
• Advocate for the customer, and the business, through research, insights, and regular contact with our customer-base
• Work closely with product management and engineering teams to implement designs
• Maintain and continuously improve component library, clearly documenting patterns and ensuring consistent implementation of the system throughout our apps
• Use Sketch and other modern design tools to design, prototype, and communicate your ideas clearly, get rapid feedback, and ensure a high degree of execution on final solutions

 

Ideal Candidate:

 

• 2+ years of experience as Lead UX designer
• Expertise in user experience, interaction design, visual design, and prototyping
• A passion for identifying consumer problems and the follow through to solve them
• Solid working knowledge of the latest design tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch and Invision.
• Ability to quickly prototype your ideas, bringing interactions to life
• Experience planning and running user research practices
• A history of managing and mentoring other designers
• A love for making things beautiful and usable
• A team player who is highly collaborative
