Position summary:

Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications to ensure alignment with business goals.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document detailed business requirements for various projects.

- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including business process flows, use cases, and functional specifications.

- Utilize JCL, GCP, Mainframe Utilities, VSAM, and COBOL to design and implement effective technical solutions.

- Conduct data analysis and provide insights to support decision-making processes.

- Perform system testing and validation to ensure solutions meet business requirements and quality standards.

- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for implemented solutions to ensure smooth operation.

- Work closely with development teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of projects.

- Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend innovative solutions.

- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations in all project activities.

- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure project alignment and successful outcomes.

- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.

- Maintain a strong understanding of industry trends and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement.

 

Top Skills Required

Core Mainframes - Cobol/db2/CICS/JCL/VSAM and also good Understanding of zOS. Should able to know the knowledge SOAP/Restful Services

 

8-10 years of experience required.
