Job Purpose:
The Lead Healthcare Management Business Analyst involves creating and implementing both reports and analysis that help maximize the effectiveness of health management initiatives and strategies. The Lead Business Analyst manages health outcome projects and acts as liaison between clients and company to meet healthcare related expectations and requirements and manages/leads the efforts of the team on this specific project.
Responsibilities:
The lead Business Analyst is mainly responsible for the care coordination and/or care management systems such as MedDecision Aerial, Altruista Guiding care and with SalesForce HealthCloud and/or SalesForce Platform.
The various
responsibilities of the Lead Healthcare Business Analyst include leading a team
of Business Analysts who are involved in underwriting, preparing reports,
performing healthcare data analysis and data validation, producing requirements
gathering and writing functional specifications, performing workflow analysis,
acting as liaison between the customer and the technical team, and providing
project management support. More duties such as developing test plans and test
scripts, providing analytical expertise to support data quality improvement,
and recommending methods to minimize clinical workloads
Required Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and 5 years Information Technology experience OR Technical Certification and/or College Courses and 6 years Information Technology experience OR 8 years Information Technology experience.
- 5 years of experience leading projects and a team of BAs
- Experience with care coordination and/or care management systems such as MedDecision, Aerial, Altruista Guiding care.
- Experience with Salesforce Healthcloud and/or Salesforce Platform.
- Knowledge of system architecture and application portfolio.
- Knowledge of requirements management and/or prototyping (ALM, Jira, RallyDev, Balsamiq, iRise).
- Ability to simplify & standardize complex concepts and/or processes.
- Business acumen.
- Project management skills.
- Requirements definition and management.
- SDLC, Iterative, Agile, OWF, and /or Scrum development.
- Problem solving and/or analytical thinking.
- Possess ability to manage workload and manage multiple priorities as applicable.
- Written and verbal communications.
- Experience or knowledge of DB2 or Teredata databases to analyze and interpret results using standard tools and techniques.
- Healthcare experience; preferably payer, membership systems, and claims.
- Previous experience working for a management / technology consulting firm and/or Big 4 type of environment.
Preferred Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, Business
Administration, or Information Technology
Business process management and modeling. - BA Certification.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Being able to work in stressful situation when insights in new data needs are required quickly.
- Experience working with little supervision to consistently meet deadlines.
- Experience with Data analysis: must look at the numbers, trends, and data and come to new conclusions based on the findings.
- Strong SQL skills.
- Knowledge of Big Data Analytics - HAVeN / HADOOP/ Autonomy / Vertica.
- Knowledge of Integration Technologies - Tibco/Informatica/CAS/ Datastage.
- Good judgment and quick business decisions.
- Experience preparing presentations and communicating findings to clients.
