V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for an SQL DBA for our premier client in Jasper, IN. This is a contract position until the end of 2018 in the automotive manufacturing industry.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
Technical Requirements and Certifications »
- SQL 2016
- SMS – creating database objects, tables, views, functions and procedures (per client standards)
- SSIS – base skills in integration services
- SSRS – making/creating reports
- Skills in Entity Framework are a plus
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities »
- Must have solid communication skills
- Ability to work onsite in (or nearby) Jasper, IN, Monday-Friday of each week
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Job Responsibilities »
- Perform coding that meets our client’s coding standards that the team has developed
- May be asked to join our client’s Code Audit team at least once every two months
- Attend daily sprint meetings, providing status updates on completed work, plans for current work, and any roadblocks/issues that need addressing
- Attend sprint kick off meeting, which operates on a two-week sprint cycle
