Position : .NET Developer
Duration : 6+ months

Description:
•Seeking a versatile, self-driven software engineer for the role of Software Developer, experienced in learning by example to deliver products and solutions in an agile environment
•The developer should be comfortable applying design principles and clean code practices in any language or framework and grok continuous integration and test automation discipline
•This individual is expected to be passionate about learning software craft, comfortable in taking on different tasks without direct supervision and to possess solid written and verbal communication skills
Key Duties, Responsibilities, and Activities:
•Under minimal supervision, develops cost effective information technology solutions by creating new and modifying existing complex software applications from detailed specifications
•Helps to lead the team in building software products and guarantee that we deliver what will be tested
•Analyzes system requirements and existing business processes and information systems where appropriate, is invested in the design, testing and coding of the Upgrades Platform
•Competent to work on most phases of application development or Upgrades Platform research activities but may require some instruction and guidance with respect to the Upgrades domain
•Interacts with core users to refine User Acceptance Criteria and when testing and evaluating applications
•Able to work on and consider multiple project delivery goals simultaneously
•Actively participates in the Agile process as a member of the Scrum team
•Provides direction, tools, technical, and process support to fellow Scrum team members
Education/Certification:
•BS/BA, preferably in a technical or scientific field or equivalent experience, education or training
Required –
•5+ years working with object-oriented languages and design patterns
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•Working experience with version control system
•Working experience with Continuous Integration & Continuous Deployment
•Working experience with SQL data technologies
•Working experience with Non-SQL data technologies such as MongoDB, CouchBase
•Working experience with agile methodologies and test driven development
•Working experience with .NET Standard (particularly C# language)
•Working experience with REST and micro-services
•5 or more years of experience in application design, development, installation and modification
•Test-driven development and continuous integration
•End to end ownership from inception to deployment
•Proficient building scalable, custom-built object-oriented applications
•Experience building and maintaining continuous delivery environments
Preferred –
•1-2 years in Airline Industry
•Experience with C# .Net Core, Mongo DB, Shell Scripting
•Familiarity with Unix / Linux system
•Working experience with .NET Core
•Working experience with NServiceBus
•Working experience with RabbitMQ
•Working experience with Docker
•Working experience with cloud platform development
