Position summary:

Duties and Responsibilities:

-Lead technical design sessions; architect and document technical solutions that are aligned with client business objectives
-Translate business requirements into well-architected solutions that best leverage the Sitecore platform
-Develop custom solutions and interfaces leveraging the Sitecore platform and Coveo
-Design and deliver innovative solutions in support of business’ strategic and tactical objectives.
-Provide hands-on, expert-level technical assistance to developers
-Engages others throughout solution delivery to provide design acceptance, understand and plan for infrastructural impacts, plan for and validate functional and non-functional requirements, ensure compliance with secure development standards and negotiate security trade-offs, and provide technical mentoring on coding techniques, methods and standards.

Qualifications

-Experience with leading solution discovery projects as lead architect
• 9+ years of experience developing on the Sitecore platform (Sitecore 9.+  and Sitecore 8.2+ required)
* strong experience with SXA
* Strong experience as Sitecore architect
* Strong experience with Sitecore best practices and helix based solution implementation.
* Multisite and multi lingul site implementation experience.
* Should be able to lead team and provide guidance on best implementation practices
* should be able to help team on CI/CD and also sitecore configurations/security hardening etc
• 5+ years as an architect with excellent communication skills and proven ability to mentor/coach fellow developers regarding best practices
• Ability to conduct code reviews of internal team or vendors’ work
• Experience building, inspecting, and managing deployments using Azure DevOps
• Experience using Glass, Synthesis, or another ORM Mapper/Wrapper for Sitecore
• Experience using TDS and/or Unicorn for tracking Sitecore item changes
• Ability to quickly learn new concepts and technologies
• Experience with coveo/Solr
• Object-oriented programming and computer science foundations
• Software security best practices
• .Net Framework, Visual Studio, C#, ASP.NET, WCF, Web API/REST Services.
• HTML5, CSS, JSON, XML, AJAX, JavaScript and JavaScript
