Position:  Big Data tester

Location: Tampa, FL

Duration: 6 Months

 

job description:

·   7+ years of Experience in ETL Testing

·    Should have good working knowledge of Big Data technologies like MapReduce (Hadoop), Apache Spark, NoSQL, Databases (MongoDB / Cassandra / HBase etc.), Data Processing Tools (Pig, Hive), Storage (HDFS), Servers (Elastic, Heroku etc.) etc.

·  Experience of configuration management tools (GIT / SVN / TFS), configuration concepts and continues integration tools (Jenkins / TeamCity / Bamboo)

·   Understanding of Agile concepts and Strong organizational & team building skills. Able to mentor other engineers in technical aspect

·   Experience in communicating with business teams, development teams, testing team and management (offshore / onshore) to collect requirements, describe software product features, and technical designs

·   Experience in Cloud management & testing (AWS), API automation, and TDD & BDD methodology would be a plus

 

Good to have skills

·    Should have knowledge of integration and unit testing

·   Should have excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills
