Our team needs a Data Analyst who will help the Parts Division’s Business Intelligence team design, build and deploy solutions that give our business users effective and automated reporting capabilities. The job requires knowledge of SQL/Tableau/Business Analysis/MS-Access/ODBC connections. This job is a unique opportunity because this data analyst will use their consulting and technical skills to work closely with both IT staff and business users as they help transition the business from old technologies to Cloud technologies including AWS, Matillion and Snowflake. Describe the projects/initiatives this person will be hired to tackle. • Evaluate Tableau workbooks for data sources that are Access based. • Perform source to target mapping to understand the data in Access and any applied business logic. • Determine appropriate data sources in SnowFlake Datawarehouse. If not available recommend creation of data loaders or views as applicable. • Migrate Tableau Workbooks and users from MS-Access files to Snowflake/Tableau solutions. This will require working closely with business users. • Develop a Data Quality Health dashboard in Tableau for the BI Team that is easily maintainable/sustainable as more data sources are added to the warehouse. This will require working with the BI Team Required experience and skills • Strong Access and SQL skills • Creative problem solving • Excellent soft skills working with business users that are not technical • Data Analysis and source to target mapping • Capturing business requirements • Tableau report development or upgrades • Preferred experience and skills Bonus Skills • AWS or Snowflake experience is a nice to have but not necessary • Matillion is a nice to have but not necessary
