Job Title: Release Manager /Lead 

Location: Sunnyvale, CA

Duration: 6 months

 

 Job Description:

·         Responsible for smooth and timely binary builds’ releases.

·         Perform release operations like release branch cut,  candidate creation, deployment to various release stages using tools.

·         Monitor, manage release pipelines with adherence to release process.

·         Coordinate with various teams that contribute to build release to ensure release train moves.

·         Proactively follow up on release blockers.

·         Escalate release blocker as needed

·         Communicate stakeholders when release schedule is behind.

·         Facilitate developers in bug investigation by providing intermediate builds.

·         Identify affected builds having bug and patch those builds with bug fix.

·         Collaborate with release managers at other Geo locations to support release pipeline across different timezones

·         Understand existing release process.

·         Suggest release process improvements

·         Contribute to defining new release processes

·         Provide inputs to release automation

·         Test release automation tools

·         Identify gaps in release automation and suggest improvements

·         Able to understand release processes of web and mobile application releases
