Position summary:

As a Release Manager, you will leverage your expertise in ITIL V4 and Release Management to drive the successful deployment and maintenance of geospatial solutions. With 8 to 12 years of experience, you will play a critical role in enhancing our geospatial capabilities, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance. Your contributions will directly impact our company's mission to deliver innovative and reliable services.
• Managing risks and resolving challenges that impact release scope, quality, and schedules
• Planning release windows and cycles across portfolios, components
• Managing relationships working on interrelated processes
• Communicating crucial release plans and changes
• Measuring and monitoring progress to achieve a timely software release within defined budgetary limits and defined quality standards
• Coordinating processes between different teams (possibly in various locations)
• Communicating necessary release details to business teams
• Managing, planning, and negotiating release activities
• Initiating and overseeing progressive release processes

Required Skills:
1. ITIL V4 Certification Preferred
2. 10+ years Release Management experience
3. Strong Oral & Written Communication skills
4. Need to co-ordinate Application and Infra teams while Quarterly SAP /APP/Infra releases and Project cutovers

Responsibilities:
• Lead the deployment and maintenance of geospatial solutions to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Oversee the release management process, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of updates and new features.
• Provide technical expertise in ITIL V4 to streamline processes and improve service delivery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate geospatial solutions with existing systems and workflows.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operation.
• Develop and implement best practices for geospatial data management and analysis.
• Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Create detailed documentation for all processes, procedures, and configurations to support ongoing operations.
• Train and mentor junior team members to build a strong and capable geospatial team.
• Engage with stakeholders to understand their needs and provide tailored geospatial solutions.
• Analyze user feedback and performance metrics to drive continuous improvement in geospatial services.
• Coordinate with vendors and third-party providers to ensure seamless integration and support.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in geospatial technology to keep our solutions cutting-edge.

Qualifications:
• Possess a strong background in ITIL V4 with proven experience in implementing best practices.
• Demonstrate expertise in release management, ensuring smooth and timely deployment of updates.
• Have a solid understanding of geospatial data management and analysis techniques.
• Show proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to geospatial solutions.
• Exhibit excellent collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
