Position : Graphic Designer
Location :Woodlawn, MD.
Duration : 2 Years Contract
 
Must have US Citizen or GC Holder or H1B Visa
 
Position Description:
Provide knowledge and expertise in leading-edge web design
Make recommendations for websites and templates
Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot innovative and effective websites
Implement recommended website design changes
Create websites which are compliant with agency standards and guidelines
Design and develop page layouts
Ensure that the classification and organization of content
meet business requirements,
are in-line with strategy,
fulfill end-user requirements
 
Skills Requirements:
Required Qualifications:
Advanced knowledge of the latest Adobe Creative Suite, specifically InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat
A natural eye for design layout, style, color selection, and graphics
Ability to create visually appealing designs from verbal or written descriptions of the item, event or issue to be depicted
Experience creating and designing difficult products (maps, charts, illustrations, graphics, and publications) from rough drafts
Great attention to detail including file size optimization, spelling & grammar and pixel-perfect positioning
Knowledge of usability/accessibility standards in order to produce 508 compliant graphics
Preferred:

Experience with web technologies, such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and XML
Experience with SharePoint
 
Education:
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, with eleven years of professional experience
