Pay Rate: $ 55 (Max)
Java, J2EE experience with SOA, XML, REST, JSON, micro services with order management technology in e-commerce/retail background necessary
Role and Responsibilities:
The Candidate Is a Technical Professional Who Can
- Leading L2/L3 level application support, design, coding, reviews, as-is process documentation, functional flows, functional testing, and timely updates to stakeholders through ticket systems, JIRA's, Confluence, emails.
- Reduce technical debt, stabilize performance for Order management system and related microservices.
- Coach and mentor team members in coding and development skills.
- Respond quickly to critical requests.
- Performance tuning and optimization for scalability and high availability.
- Exhibit strong understanding of order capture & processing, inventory reservation and systemic replenishment, fulfillment and delivery expectation, payment settlement & refunds, returns & exchanges
Criteria:
- You have a BS or MS in Computer Sciences, Engineering, or related field (an equivalent combination of related education, training, and experience may be considered)
- 5+ Years’ experience working in the eCommerce industry maintaining or managing high volume Order Management applications.
- 3+ years’ experience with hands-On Java Programming and familiarity with SOA, XML, REST, JSON and specifically in developing Java-based extensions
- 3+ years of hands-on development or maintenance using IBM Sterling Commerce technology or similar Order Management technology, Java/J2EE applications using various Open source and proprietary frameworks – Spring, hibernate etc.
- Relational database experience (Oracle, DB2 or SQL)
- Good understanding of enabling technologies and concepts such as front-end web technologies, interactive experience, digital strategy, eCommerce systems, content management systems, middleware technologies, and data management
- 3+ years of experience developing microservices and cloud native applications using Spring Boot (Preferred)
