Java Developer (Front End-Angular JS) Role Description:
The Java Developer (Front End-Angular JS) would need to have at least 2 to 4 years of experience. This candidate would be responsible for writing programs to maintain and control computer systems software for operating systems, networked systems, and database systems and for creating the software platform and then fine-tuning the final program after it has been made.
Required Skills:
- Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage one time.
- Knowledge of the full software development lifecycle: from business/ systems analysis, through requirements gathering and functional specification authoring, to development, testing and delivery.
- Ability to troubleshoot issues and make system changes as needed to resolve issue.
- Knowledge of computer development software, such as SQL, Java, J2EE, etc.
Responsibilities:
- Modify existing software to correct errors, to adapt it to new hardware or to upgrade interfaces and improve performance.
- Design and develop software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequences of design.
- Consult with the engineering staff to evaluate interface between hardware and software, develop specifications and performance requirements and resolve customer problems.
- Advise customer about or perform, maintenance of software system.
Additional Skills:
- Work under the guidance of senior engineers and manager.
- Analyze functional requirements and assist with project estimating.
- Develop design specifications for moderately complex software programming applications.
- Performing application software development for new products and system enhancements, potentially across a variety of technology platforms.
- Mentor team members and constructively contribute to enhancing the technical knowledge of the development group, as a whole.
- Provide technical support related to the projects worked on, including identifying root cause of application issues.
- Produce timely and accurate reports of work completed.
- Perform and communicate in a team environment.
- Must have 2+ years of hands-on experience with:
- Object Oriented Analysis and Design, and Object Oriented Programming.
- J2EE/ Java/ JSP/ AJAX Application Development, HTML5, CSS, jQuery and AngularJS.
- Adobe CQ/ AEM experiences a major plus.
- Experience building database driven web applications a major plus.
- Experienced with Eclipse IDE development environment.
- Must have experience and an understanding of how to implement applications using Model View and Controller (MVC) utilizing the Struts framework and working knowledge of the Hibernate technology for persistence management.
- Must also be able to demonstrate competence with UML (Use case diagrams, activity diagrams, sequence diagrams and class diagrams) along with having working knowledge of both Waterfall and Agile software development lifecycle approaches.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in an IT related field.
