Client is looking advanced Informatica features like normalization, partition, recovery and performance options. Below I have given roles more on Informatica Powercenter which client would be expecting.
• ETL Performance tuning and Optimization techniques and able to handle huge volume of data
• Extensively worked on Informatica tools Repository manager, Designer, Work-flow manager, Work-flow monitor.
• Hands on Oracle SQL PLSQL, expertise in writing complex queries, built-in Oracle tools ( Data pump)
• Created mappings using the transformations like Source qualifier, SQL, Aggregator, Expression, look-up, Router, Filter, Update Strategy, Joiner, Stored procedure and etc. transformations.
• Involve in creating Deployment groups by creating both Static and Dynamic deployment for each mapping and do deployment of mapping from DEV to SIT and to UAT and PROD Respectively.
• Healthcare domain experience and handling data (claims, product, member) is an added advantage
• Experience on Informatica TDM/ILM is an added advantage
• Java knowledge will be Nice to have for this role.

• Should be able to perform BSA to do deep dive tier 3 analysis looking specifically at in Database comparison skills for the two different data base tables based on the requirement.

Sr Data Engineer - Hadoop
The Sr Data Engineer position will be responsible for evaluating, designing and developing technical solutions within the technology functions of the company in accordance with the policies and practices of Anthem. Also this position will be responsible for hands-on development of various current and new data warehouse initiatives while maintaining the exceptional level of professionalism and customer service standards that Anthem has attained within the healthcare industry.
The Data Engineer should possess the following Qualifications:
PRIMARY DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Make ongoing recommendations of solution standards and system configurations
• Work in cross-disciplinary teams to understand client needs and ingest rich data sources.
• Research, experiment, and utilize leading Big Data technologies in AWS
• Enabling an innovative approach to data platforms which greatly increase the flexibility, scalability, and reliability of IT services at a lower cost
• Leading design reviews, planning , developing and resolving technical issues
• Delivering highly complex solution & Design using in-depth knowledge within the business domain
• Design data warehouses on platforms such as AWS Redshift, , Hadoop and other high performance platforms
• Design custom ETL processes based on customer needs and their existing data sources
