1. MySQL DBA with following skills:

 

Installation, configuration and Database Administration, user management, Database upgrade and migration, Database performance monitoring/tuning and SQL tuning, Troubleshooting database issues. Database backup and restore, ProxySQL settings/configurations, Troubleshooting database and application performance issues. Setup/configuration of database replication and troubleshooting, Setup HA databases for Disaster recovery and failover/failback to Support DR activities, Support multiple Database environments like dev, qa, stage, beta, prod, archive, DR, HA, Setting up database monitoring, Review and deployment of database scripts(DMLs/DDLs) , Write Unix scripts and DB scripts , Refresh lower environments from prod, Provide support to incidents and create RCA , Provide on call support as per rotation cycle.

Tungsten replication: Installation, setup/configuration of multi-master replication and maintenance

2. MongoDB DBA with following skills:

 

Build/Configure Mongo replication and sharding

Implement appropriate indexes for performance improvement

Perform fine-tune configurations on MongoDB and servers for performance improvement

Implement optimal backup and recovery

Understand and optimize query performance

Create and publish database health checks to monitoring systems to identify slow queries; replication lags; node failures; index usage patterns; CPU usage; memory usage; locks; number of connections and any other relevant parameters

Evaluate, plan and perform the DB upgrades

Maintenance during release/outage etc.

Drive best practices for backups, replication, and health checks

Design and implement Disaster Recovery plans & High Availability solutions and recommendations

Work closely with the application team to understand what changes are coming in a build/patch/hotfix, do an impact analysis, fine-tune the queries if any

Automate the process of deploying DB changes/repetetive tasks so that we can support this for a new build/patch/hotfix.

 

3. HAVE SKILLS: MySQL DBA with these skills – Database setup/upgrade/migration , Backup/recovery, Query Optimization/Performance tuning

 

4. FERRED/ADDED ADVANTAGE: GCP (preferred) or any cloud Skill , Automation tools (Ansible, Terraform)"
