Job Title: .Net Developer with Azure and iOS
Location: Allentown, PA
Duration: 12 Months Contract
Interview Mode: Phone and Skype
This person will work with Air Products resources to POC, design, and build a new synchronization solution for the Moby applications. The individual will then help convert the Moby Applications to this new platform.
As outlined below, we are looking for a Microsoft and iOS skillset, but primarily with a Microsoft background with some iOS experience as opposed to the other way around. If we can't find someone with both C# and iOS experience, the C# experience will take precedence.
Position Responsibilities:
• Develop data synchronization engine using Azure Mobile Services
• Migrate existing iOS applications to the new synchronization engine
• Determine technical requirements and ensure all specifications are met
• Work closely with solution architects\technical leads to develop a solution
• Work closely with Infrastructure teams during the implementation of the solution
• Participate in quality assurance aspects of the project
Education/Experience:
• A bachelor's degree in Information Technology or in a related technical discipline
• 5 years experience working with information technology is required
• 5 years hands-on experience developing solutions with Microsoft technologies is required
• 2 years hands-on experience developing iOS applications is required
• Experience with iOS application development
• Experience with Xamarin platform
• Experience with Microsoft's .NET Framework using C#
• Experience with relational database technologies and programming, e.g. SQL Server
• Experience with Microsoft's Azure platform
• Good communication skills, including the ability to work independently
• Knowledge and experience in applying object-oriented design and implementation
• Knowledge and experience with project methodologies, e.g. ALM or Agile
• Ability to apply frameworks, standards, and patterns
