Title : DevOps Engineer with Azure Experience
Location : Boston, MA
Duration : Long Term
Responsibilities:
· Daily systems monitoring and management across production and non-production cloud environments
· Deploying software and managing systems configuration and managing backups, planning business continuity.
· Designing and Managing scalable cloud environment. Monitoring systems, ensuring resources are utilized efficiently and scale gracefully
· Auditing systems security, implementing best practices in order to protect proprietary information
· Plan for and ensure adequate capacity across all services
· Automate and improve installation, configuration, backup, monitoring and alerting
· Manage migrations deployments and releases.
· Participate in a rotating on-call schedule providing 24x7 support
Requirements:
· 3+ years of hands-on cloud operations experience (Azure experience required)
· Experience with CI/CD tools and understanding of CI/CD principles
· Expert understanding of IIS, managing CMS/marketing platforms, CDNs, load balancing, DNS, proxying and networking
· Intermediate or better understanding of application services (SQL Server, Mongo, Solr seach)
· Experience with containers (eg docker) and serverless (eg lambda) is a plus
· Demonstrable experience implementing secure and highly available infrastructure services(HA, DR is a plus in Cloud environment)
· Good knowledge of Sitecore
· Good knowledge of industry security standards and best practices such as NIST and the Cloud Security Alliance
· Experience using version control. We use Git.
