Job Description -
· 6 + years of experience on Mainframes with client-facing roles..
• Interact with various stakeholders to understand the business, also to analyze and collect the business requirements that are assigned.
Good impact analysis skills. Prepare program specification and Solution Design documents Transforming the design into executable code using COBOL, JCL., DB2, VSAM and CICS technologies
• Hands on in CICS and VSAM is must, should be able to work on CICS screens independently.
• Troubleshoot and deblig existing code and system to identify and resolve.
• Impact analysis for the changes to be implemented and Perform maintenance on New/existing programs and makes enhancements to applications based on user requirements. Creating low-level design and technical specification for the enhancement Prepare the Test data, perform unit testing and make sure that code meets its design and requirements and behaves as expected
• Providing production support, which includes job monitoring, defect analysis and defect resolution if any defects is reported.
• Involve in functional and technical systems analysis, design documentation and presentation.
• Handle technical & functional queries of offshore development & testing team
• Participate in peer reviews to ensure quality deliverables.
