We have urgent requirements  with our implementation for the below requirement. 

C2C first 6 months and after that C2H with the client. 

Position : Data Reliability Engineer
Location : Remote till Covid
Duration : 1 year +
Pay Rate : $60/hr C2H after 6 months 

Visa: GC USC EAD

Minimum Qualification:

5+ years scripting experience preferably in Python.
Monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana and ELK Stack.
Cloud computing - Google Cloud Platform, Amazon Web Services.
Automated deployment procedures using DevOps tooling like Ansible and Terraform.
Developing Linux-based deployment platforms.
Experience with one or more of the following:
Open-source SQL databases like PostgreSQL
Data streaming technologies - Kafka, Kafka Connect, KStreams, KSQL
In-memory key-value Stores like Redis.

Technical Skills:

Developing SQL applications of significant complexity.
Web frameworks like Django.
Data warehouse technologies: MapReduce, HDFS, Hive, Tez, Spark, Sqoop.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Support existing databases, Redis caches and Kafka clusters at SXM/P
Automate operational toil via scripting, infrastructure-as-code utilities and third-party applications.
Give advice to service owners on industry and company standards and best practices.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Ability to project professionalism over the phone and in person.
Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Willingness to take initiative and to follow through on projects.
Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task, and work under shifting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
