Job Title : Sr. Network Engineer / Palo Alto Firewall Security Consultant
Location : Glendale, CA
Duration : 13 weeks (Estimated 520 hours)
 
Project Summary - We are looking for a Palo Alto security consultant who will collaborate with our customer on the implementation of the Palo Alto based firewall solution including assistance with the detailed design/planning, integration with existing infrastructure and migration to the new Palo Alto solution.
 
Required Skills:

10-15+years of experience as a Network Engineer

Design and implementation experience with Palo Alto PA-7050, PA-220, PA-3060, PA-5250, PA--500 firewalls as well as Panorama management software and subscription configuration for WildFire, threat prevention, and URL filtering
Good customer facing consultative skills
Developing the detailed design to include port mapping, specific device configurations, IP assignments and other configuration parameters
Plan for migration to the new solution including translation or migration of firewall rules as appropriate
Implement the Palo Alto hardware, software, and subscriptions as shown in the attached BOM
Migrate firewall rules and perform testing to validate proper operation
All hours worked should be at the same rate unless legally required or dictated by candidate (be sure to note the reason for OT uplifts within the Comments field). Without such comment, we presume uplifted OT rates on the submittal were done in error.
